Press Release

HOUSTON, TX, May 24, 2010: Chad M. Sundbeck has been appointed Vice-President, Commercial Lending of Texas Gulf Bank, N.A. - Houston, an independently owned and operated bank established in 1913. Sundbeck will focus on expanding Texas Gulf Bank Houston's commercial client base by offering business loans, commercial lines of credit, and flexible lending solutions to Houston's growing businesses.

Sundbeck brings 14 years of experience in the banking industry. Prior to joining Texas Gulf Bank Houston, Sundbeck was Vice-President/Business Banking Officer for Capital One Bank Corp., where he managed a significant loan and deposit portfolio. Previous positions include Vice-President/Commercial Loan Officer for Sterling Bank Corp., Finance Manager for Merrill Lynch Business Financial Services, and AVP/Commercial Loan Officer for Union Planters Bank Corp.

"Chad's experience in managing commercial banking clients and his commitment to delivering exceptional personal service to his clients will make him instrumental in developing business for Texas Gulf Bank," said Richard W. Jochetz, president of Texas Gulf Bank Houston.

"Texas Gulf Bank has a reputation for personal service that far exceeds the norm; a place where customers know their banker by name. I'm looking forward to working in an environment where business lending decisions are made on a local level. Texas Gulf Bank's capital far exceeds regulation guidelines, and they have a substantial loan capacity" both of which provide a solid platform from which I plan to expand our commercial lending business," said Sundbeck.
