CREDIT ANALYST – HOUSTON This full time position will provide assistance to the lending staff with underwriting of new and renewal loans. Conversion of customer financial statements into standard spreadsheet form, conducting analyses and providing the loan officer with feedback are also critical elements to this position. In addition, this position will be responsible for reviewing major credits for quality, documentation and capacity and grading such credits within Loan Policy/Loan Review guidelines. The qualified candidate should possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with preferred area of study in finance, accounting and/or business. Computer proficiencies should include Word and Excel as well the ability to utilize the internet efficiently for necessary research. The preferred candidate will possess strong communication skills as well as analytical abilities. The Credit Analyst position is considered a training ground to becoming a Commercial Lender.
